Waskabis’s SKA takes you on a musical journey around the world in the Zeppelin. From the Balkans to England, from Jamaica to South America, lyrics in dialect, Spanish, English and Russian.

The speakers roar and the brute horn section creates a wall of sound that sweeps you away. Raw and unpolished, socially critical, wild, loud and fast. This is the punky side of Waskabi. The saxophone plays a lovely melody, the disco run of the bass over the triplet rhythm paired with the Spanish vocals makes you dream of distant worlds. Calm, funny, cheerful, multi-layered, combined with traditional ska, reggae and world music, this is the calmer side. Waskabi is definitely the most versatile active Swiss ska band.
